The SEZNIK Mini Printer in Stealth Velvet is a pocket-sized, inkless thermal printer that connects to Android and iOS phones over Bluetooth and prints black-and-white notes, lists, labels, stickers and simple photos at 203 DPI. It never needs ink or cartridges; it uses heat-sensitive paper rolls instead, and Seznik puts nine rolls in the box. It is a fun, low-maintenance gadget for students, journalers and home organisers, but it is not a replacement for a photo printer or an office printer.

Seznik sells this model on its own website as the Eon pocket thermal printer, and the Amazon.in listing gives the model name as EON-Mini-Printer-Gift. A few listed specifications disagree between the two sources, and we flag each one below.

How this article was put together: it is based on Seznik’s official Eon product page and the Amazon.in listing data, both checked on 17 October 2026. We have not used this SEZNIK Eon Mini Printer ourselves, so there are no print samples, speed tests or battery measurements here.

Quick verdict

  • Best for: students printing short notes and to-do lists, kids’ craft and journaling projects, labelling jars and boxes at home, and printing QR codes or small reminders from a phone
  • Skip if: you need colour prints, long-lasting photos, A4 pages or a printer that connects to a laptop as a main use
  • Key strengths: no ink or cartridges, Bluetooth printing from Android and iOS, 203 DPI print head, Type-C charging, 1-year warranty, eight spare paper rolls plus one pre-loaded
  • Key limitations: monochrome only, small paper width, thermal prints can fade over time, the app is not named on the official page, and weight and size figures conflict between sources

What comes in the box

Seznik’s official page and the Amazon.in listing agree on the box contents: the mini printer, eight thermal paper rolls plus one already loaded inside the SEZNIK Eon Mini Printer, a USB charging cable and an instruction manual. Nine rolls is a generous starting supply for a gadget like this, so you can try notes, lists and small images before you need to buy refills.

The official page’s larger dimension and weight figures may describe the boxed package rather than the SEZNIK Eon Mini Printer itself, but Seznik does not say so. Going by the product text on both sources, expect a palm-sized printer of roughly 12 x 10 x 8 cm and around 200 g. Also note that Stealth Velvet, the colour on the linked listing, does not appear in the colour list on Seznik’s own page, so check the photos on the listing to confirm the finish you are getting.

How inkless thermal printing works

A thermal printer has no ink at all. Its print head contains a row of tiny heating elements, and the paper is coated with a chemical layer that turns dark where it is heated. As the roll moves past the head, the SEZNIK Eon Mini Printer heats the right dots and an image appears. This is the same basic technology used in shop billing printers and card machine receipts.

The advantages are simple: there are no cartridges to dry out or replace, nothing to spill, and very few moving parts. The trade-offs are also clear. Prints are single-colour, and thermal prints can fade over time, especially if they are left in sunlight, near heat or in contact with some plastics. Treat these prints as useful short-term notes and labels rather than keepsakes.

What 203 DPI means for print quality

Seznik lists a 203 DPI resolution, which is the common standard for small thermal and receipt printers. In practical terms, text, checklists, QR codes and simple line drawings come out sharp enough to read and scan. Photos are a different story: because the SEZNIK Eon Mini Printer can only make black dots, the app has to convert a photo into a pattern of dots, so pictures look like a newspaper-style halftone rather than a glossy print.

If photo detail is your priority, Seznik’s own range includes 304 DPI models, which pack more dots into the same space. We have not seen independent print comparisons of these models, so we cannot quantify the difference.

Paper: width, refills and stickers

According to the Amazon listing, the SEZNIK Eon Mini Printer takes 57 mm paper, with a maximum media size given as 2 inches by 3 metres. 57 mm is a widely sold thermal roll width in India, but small pocket printers also have a limited compartment, so the roll’s outer diameter matters as much as its width. When you buy refills, match both the width and the diameter of the rolls supplied in the box.

The listing says the SEZNIK Eon Mini Printer can print labels and stickers. For stickers you need thermal sticker paper rolls with an adhesive backing; plain thermal rolls will not stick. Seznik’s page does not say whether any of the included rolls are sticker paper, so assume they are plain unless the box says otherwise.

  • Plain thermal rolls: notes, lists, study flashcards, receipts and reminders
  • Sticker thermal rolls: jar and box labels, planner decorations, name tags

Battery, charging and portability

Seznik’s official page lists battery life of up to 20 hours and Type-C charging, while the Amazon listing states an 800 mAh battery. The official page does not explain how the 20-hour figure was measured, so it may reflect standby or mixed use rather than continuous printing. Printing itself draws the most power because the head has to heat up.

At a listed weight of around 200 g, the SEZNIK Eon Mini Printer is light enough for a school bag or desk drawer. Charging over Type-C means you can top it up with the same charger as most current phones.

App and phone compatibility

The SEZNIK Eon Mini Printer is controlled through a phone app over Bluetooth, and both sources say it works with iOS and Android. According to the listing, the app supports printing photos, labels, lists, QR codes, web pages and OCR text recognition, and offers a variety of fonts and themes. The official page does not name the app, so use the QR code or instructions in the manual to download the correct one, and avoid look-alike apps from unknown developers.

Before you order for a child or a family member, check that their phone’s operating system version is supported by the app listed in the manual. As with any app that requests Bluetooth, camera or storage access, grant only the permissions you need. The Amazon listing also mentions a USB hardware interface, but neither source describes printing from a laptop, so plan on phone-based use.

Frequently asked questions

Does the SEZNIK mini printer need ink?

No. It is a thermal printer, so it prints by heating special paper. You only need to buy thermal paper rolls.

Can the SEZNIK mini printer print colour photos?

No. Both Seznik and the Amazon listing describe it as monochrome. Photos are printed in black and white as dot patterns.

Which phones work with the SEZNIK Eon mini printer?

Seznik says it works with Android and iOS phones and tablets over Bluetooth, through a companion app.

What paper size does it use?

The Amazon listing gives a 57 mm paper size. Seznik’s own page does not state the width, so match refills to the rolls supplied in the box.

How long does the battery last?

Seznik’s official page lists up to 20 hours of battery life, and the Amazon listing states an 800 mAh battery. Neither explains how many prints a charge allows.

Will the prints last?

Thermal prints can fade over time, particularly with heat and sunlight, so this printer suits notes and labels better than prints you want to keep for years.

Bottom line

The SEZNIK Mini Printer is a simple, inkless way to get small black-and-white printouts from a phone, with a generous nine rolls of paper in the box and Type-C charging. Go in expecting notes, labels and fun prints rather than photo-quality images, and check the colour and box contents on the listing.
