The Lenovo V15 G4 AMN with the AMD Ryzen 3 7320U (model 82YU00W7IN) is a no-frills 15.6-inch laptop with 8GB RAM, a 512GB SSD, a Full HD screen and Windows 11 Home, aimed at office work, study and home use. It is a sensible pick if you want Windows ready to go, a wired Ethernet port and a numeric keypad. Its weak points are a 250-nit screen that, by Lenovo’s own spec sheet, is the basic TN panel option, and 8GB of memory that cannot be upgraded.
The listing this article covers is Amazon.in ASIN B0C69Z4TKW, titled “Lenovo V15 AMD Ryzen 3 7320U 15.6″ (39.62cm) FHD 250 Nits Antiglare Thin and Light Laptop (8GB/512GB SSD/Windows 11 Home/Arctic Grey/1.65 Kg), 82YU00W7IN” when checked on 17 October 2026. Lenovo’s series name for this generation is the V15 G4 AMN, which is also sold with Athlon and Ryzen 5 processors, other memory sizes, an IPS screen option and Business Black colour.
Please note: this is a specification-based guide. It draws on Lenovo’s PSREF product specification sheet, AMD’s processor page and published spec listings, checked on 17 October 2026. Gadget Soch has not tested this laptop in person.
The answer in brief
- Suits: office staff, students and families who need Windows, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, browsing, video calls and streaming on a full-size 15.6-inch laptop
- Does not suit: gamers, video editors, heavy multitaskers, or anyone who works outdoors or near bright windows and needs a bright, wide-angle screen
- Plus points: Windows 11 Home included, Full HD resolution, RJ-45 Ethernet, USB-C with charging and display output, numeric keypad, 720p webcam with privacy shutter, MIL-STD-810H tested
- Minus points: 250-nit TN-class screen, 8GB soldered memory, no SD card reader, no backlit keyboard, entry-level Radeon 610M graphics, HDMI 1.4b

The screen: Full HD, but read the “250 nits” carefully
The good news is the resolution. At 1920 x 1080, text on a 15.6-inch screen looks reasonably sharp and you get enough room for two windows side by side. The anti-glare coating also helps with overhead office lighting.
The catch is in the brightness figure. Lenovo’s PSREF sheet for the V15 G4 AMN lists two Full HD panels: a TN panel at 250 nits with 500:1 contrast and 45% NTSC colour coverage, and an IPS panel at 300 nits with 800:1 contrast. This listing says 250 nits, which matches the TN option, and Smartprix’s spec listing for 82YU00W7IN also names a TN panel. One other spec site describes it as IPS, so confirm on the listing, but the official numbers point to TN.
Why that matters: Lenovo lists TN viewing angles of 45 degrees left and right, 15 degrees up and 35 degrees down, against 85 degrees in every direction for IPS. Colours and contrast shift when you view the screen at an angle, which is noticeable when two people watch together, and a 45% NTSC gamut means muted colours. For documents and online classes viewed head-on indoors, it is workable.
Ryzen 3 7320U: what to expect
AMD rates the Ryzen 3 7320U at four cores and eight threads, 2.4GHz base and up to 4.1GHz, at a 15W default power level. It uses Zen 2 cores on a 6nm process, a design AMD launched in September 2022. Notebookcheck describes it as a chip for low-cost thin and light laptops and places it below the Ryzen 5 7520U, its higher-clocked sibling.
That makes it comfortable for Word and Excel, Google Docs, plenty of browser tabs, Teams or Zoom calls and Full HD streaming, but not for long video exports, large programming builds, CAD or modern games. Notebookcheck notes the Radeon 610M has only two compute units, so treat it as a display and video engine, not a gaming GPU.
Memory and storage: one fixed, one flexible
PSREF is clear that memory on the V15 G4 AMN is LPDDR5-5500 soldered to the system board, with no slots. The 8GB you buy is what you keep, and AMD caps this processor at 16GB anyway. 8GB is enough for typical office and study use, but running Chrome with many tabs alongside Teams and Excel will fill most of it. If you know you multitask heavily, look for a 16GB V15 G4 configuration instead.
Storage is more flexible. The 512GB SSD sits in a single M.2 2242 slot, and Lenovo says the slot supports drives up to 1TB. Note the slot runs at PCIe 3.0 x2. Lenovo’s notes say faster PCIe 4.0 drives fitted to this series are limited by the slot, so a pricey high-speed SSD will not show its full speed here. For more space without opening the laptop, an external USB SSD such as the SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD is a simpler option.
Ports and connectivity: a strong point for office use
The V15 G4 AMN keeps a full-size RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet port, which many thin laptops have dropped. That matters in offices, hostels and homes where wired internet is more reliable than Wi-Fi. You also get two USB-A ports at 5Gbps and an HDMI 1.4b port.
The single USB-C port is more capable than on some budget laptops. Lenovo lists USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort 1.2 on it, so you can charge from a compatible USB-C charger and run an external monitor. Per PSREF, the laptop can drive two external screens, one over HDMI (up to 4K at 30Hz) and one over USB-C (up to 4K at 60Hz). If you plan a 4K monitor, use the USB-C port for smooth 60Hz output.
What is missing: PSREF lists no card reader, which matters for photographers and anyone moving files from a camera. Wireless is Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6 depending on configuration, and our sources disagree on which this model has, so check the technical details on the listing if Wi-Fi 6 matters to you.
Battery, charging, keyboard and build
Lenovo offers the V15 G4 AMN with a 38Wh or 47Wh battery. 91mobiles lists 38Wh for 82YU00W7IN, but we could not confirm this from Lenovo, so check the listing. Lenovo’s own MobileMark 2018 ratings for the series are up to 8.7 hours with 38Wh and up to 11.6 hours with 47Wh. These are lab figures under a standard benchmark, not real-world promises. Rapid Charge is rated at up to 80% in about an hour.
The keyboard is a six-row, spill-resistant layout with a numeric keypad and 1.3mm key travel, which suits accounts and data-entry work, but it is not backlit. The chassis is PC-ABS plastic, and Lenovo says the series passed MIL-STD-810H tests. Security covers a 720p webcam with a privacy shutter, firmware TPM 2.0 and a Kensington Nano lock slot. There is no fingerprint reader.
Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere

A good match for small offices, accountants and data-entry staff who value the numeric keypad and Ethernet port, students who need Windows and a full-size screen for assignments and online classes, and families who want a basic shared computer.
Look elsewhere if you need a bright or colour-accurate screen, want more than 8GB of memory now or later, work in dark rooms often, or plan to game or edit video. Buyers who carry their laptop all day may also prefer something lighter than the listed 1.65kg.
Alternatives to compare
HP 15 (2025) with Ryzen 3 7320U: same processor, 8GB and 512GB, and a lighter 1.5kg according to its Amazon.in listing. However, that listing ships with DOS rather than Windows and an HD rather than Full HD display, so add the cost of a Windows licence when comparing.
Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 with Ryzen 5 7520U: Lenovo’s consumer model on the same platform moves up to the Ryzen 5 7520U (up to 4.3GHz) and adds an SD card reader, but PSREF says it has no Ethernet port. See our Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Ryzen 5 7520U review.
Lenovo V14 G4 AMN: the 14-inch sibling uses the same processor family, ports including Ethernet, and screen options, in a smaller body that Lenovo lists at under 1.37kg.
Before you order: a short checklist

- Model number: make sure the listing still shows 82YU00W7IN with Ryzen 3 7320U, 8GB, 512GB SSD, Windows 11 Home and Arctic Grey. Amazon pages can show other variants
- Screen: if viewing angles matter to you, check whether the listing says TN or IPS. The 300-nit IPS option is a different configuration
- Battery and Wi-Fi: check the technical details for 38Wh or 47Wh and for Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6
- Charger: PSREF lists both round-tip and USB-C 65W adapters for the series, so check which one comes in the box
- Office: the title mentions Windows 11 Home only, so do not assume Microsoft Office is included
- Warranty: check the warranty term on the listing and register the laptop on Lenovo India’s support site after delivery

Frequently asked questions
Is the Lenovo V15 Ryzen 3 7320U screen IPS or TN?
The listing says 250 nits. Lenovo’s PSREF sheet lists the 250-nit Full HD panel for the V15 G4 AMN as TN, while the IPS option is rated at 300 nits. Smartprix also lists TN for this model. Confirm on the listing before you buy.
Can I upgrade the RAM on the 82YU00W7IN?
No. Lenovo states that memory is soldered LPDDR5 with no slots. You can, however, replace the M.2 2242 SSD, with Lenovo supporting up to 1TB.
Does the Lenovo V15 G4 AMN have an Ethernet port?
Yes. Lenovo lists one RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet port, along with two USB-A ports, one USB-C port and HDMI 1.4b.
Can I charge it with a USB-C charger?
Lenovo lists USB Power Delivery on the USB-C port, so a compatible USB-C PD charger of suitable wattage can charge it. Check which 65W adapter comes in the box.
Is it good for online classes and office work?
Yes, on paper. It has Windows 11 Home, a 720p webcam with privacy shutter, dual microphones, Dolby Audio speakers and a processor that handles Office, browsing and video calls.
Bottom line
The Lenovo V15 G4 AMN 82YU00W7IN is a practical work laptop rather than an exciting one. Windows 11 Home, a Full HD resolution, Ethernet, a capable USB-C port and a numeric keypad make it easy to live with for office and study use. The 250-nit TN-class screen and fixed 8GB memory are the compromises to accept. Check the current price of the Lenovo V15 Ryzen 3 7320U on Amazon.in and compare it with IPS-screen alternatives if you can stretch the budget.
