The Xiaomi FX Pro 43-inch 4K QLED Smart TV (model L43MB-FPIN) is a 2025 Fire TV-based television with a quantum dot panel, HDR10+, Filmmaker Mode and 30W speakers. For Indian buyers who want a well-connected 43-inch 4K TV for streaming in a living room or bedroom, it looks like a good-value choice on paper, but it is a 60Hz set without Dolby Vision, and published coverage points to limited peak brightness for sunlit rooms.
Xiaomi launched the QLED TV FX Pro series in India in May 2025 in 43-inch and 55-inch sizes. Several of the headline features you may have read about, including the 120Hz Game Booster and the 34W speakers, belong to the 55-inch model only, so this guide focuses on what the 43-inch version actually offers.
A note on method: this article draws on Xiaomi India’s official product and specification pages, Xiaomi’s launch details as reported by FoneArena and Notebookcheck, and a published review, all checked on 17 October 2026. Gadget Soch has not tested this TV hands-on. Prices change often, so please check the current price on Amazon.in.
The verdict in brief
- Good fit for: streaming-first households, Prime Video and Alexa users, and anyone who wants AirPlay 2, eARC and three HDMI ports on a 43-inch 4K TV
- Look elsewhere if: you want Dolby Vision, Google TV with Google Cast, 120Hz gaming, or a TV for a very bright room
- Strengths: QLED panel with a claimed 94% DCI-P3 colour gamut, HDR10+, Filmmaker Mode, 30W speakers with Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual:X, AV1 decoding, 32GB storage and Alexa voice control
- Limitations: 60Hz panel with no Game Booster on this size, 2GB RAM, no Dolby Vision listed, only USB 2.0 ports, and a one-year warranty without the free extension the 55-inch gets

43-inch vs 55-inch: what changes between the two sizes
Much of the FX Pro marketing covers both sizes together, which can mislead 43-inch buyers. Xiaomi’s own product page marks two features as available only on the 55-inch model: the 120Hz Game Booster and the 34W box speakers. Its spec sheet also lists a free one-year extended warranty for the 55-inch only.
Everything else that matters for daily viewing is shared on paper: the 4K QLED panel, HDR10+, Filmmaker Mode, the processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, the ports and Fire TV. If the Game Booster or the bigger speakers matter to you, the 55-inch is the model to look at.
Picture quality: QLED, HDR10+ and Filmmaker Mode
A QLED TV is still an LED-backlit LCD, but with a quantum dot layer that produces purer reds and greens. That is why Xiaomi can claim a 94% DCI-P3 colour gamut, which is the colour range used for most films and HDR streaming. In practice, colours look richer than on a basic LED panel.
HDR10+ adds scene-by-scene brightness information, so the TV can adjust tone mapping for dark and bright scenes rather than using a single setting for the whole film. What Xiaomi does not list is Dolby Vision, the other major dynamic HDR format. Without it, streaming apps typically fall back to standard HDR10 for titles mastered in Dolby Vision.
Brightness is the main caveat. Notebookcheck warned at launch that a QLED panel of this kind should not be expected to deliver Mini LED contrast or peak brightness. 91mobiles, reviewing the 55-inch version, praised the rich colours and decent upscaling of 720p and 1080p content but found peak brightness the main weakness, and recommended dimmer rooms for the best HDR results. It also found motion smooth in sports. These are 55-inch findings, so treat them as guidance for the 43-inch.
Filmmaker Mode is worth using for films. It switches off motion smoothing, noise reduction and other processing so the picture looks closer to what the director intended. For live cricket or football, the MEMC motion processing listed on Xiaomi’s page is the better choice.
Fire TV built in: do you still need a streaming stick?
No. The FX Pro runs Fire TV as its main smart platform, so it already gives you the same kind of Fire TV home screen, Alexa voice search and app store that a Fire TV stick adds to an older TV. Xiaomi lists more than 12,000 apps, up to six user profiles, PIN-protected parental controls, picture-in-picture and voice control of compatible DTH set-top boxes. Alexa works in English, Hindi and Hinglish, according to Xiaomi.
If you are new to Fire TV, our Fire TV Stick 4K Plus review explains how the platform works, including its Amazon-heavy home screen and the lack of Google Cast. A stick only makes sense here later on, if the TV’s built-in software ever feels slow or stops getting app updates. Note that a stick cannot add Dolby Vision to a TV that does not support it.
On speed, 91mobiles found the interface clean with quick boot times on the 55-inch, but noticed occasional lag when switching apps and a delay of a second or two on some remote inputs. With 2GB of RAM, that matches what you should expect at this level. For casting, AirPlay 2 and Miracast are supported, but Google Cast is not listed.
Sound: what 30W box speakers can and cannot do
The Amazon listing title highlights “30W Box Speakers”, and Xiaomi’s spec sheet confirms 30W for the 43-inch, with Dolby Audio, DTS:X and DTS Virtual:X. A 30W output is generous for a 43-inch TV, and box-style enclosures generally help speakers sound fuller than the thin drivers used in many slim TVs.
91mobiles found the 34W system on the 55-inch loud and clear, with good dialogue and some stereo separation, but adequate rather than punchy bass. It suggested a soundbar for a cinematic setup. The 43-inch has the same eARC HDMI port, which can pass higher-quality audio formats to a compatible soundbar.
Gaming and connectivity
The 43-inch FX Pro runs at 60Hz. On the 55-inch, 91mobiles found native 4K at 60Hz worked well with consoles, which suits casual gaming. Its three HDMI ports leave room for a console, a set-top box and a soundbar. However, the same review found no VRR or ALLM support, and the 120Hz Game Booster is not offered on the 43-inch, so competitive gamers should consider other options.
The two USB ports are USB 2.0, which is enough for pen drives and keyboards. Ethernet is useful if your Wi-Fi is weak near the TV, and the AV input helps with older devices. AV1 decoding helps with apps that use this newer, more efficient video format.
Is the FX Pro 43 right for your room?
- Yes, if you watch mainly in a bedroom or a living room with controlled daylight and sit within a few metres of the screen
- Yes, if your household already uses Alexa or Prime Video, or you use an iPhone and want AirPlay 2
- Yes, if you plan to add a soundbar later, thanks to eARC
- Probably not, if your room gets strong afternoon sun, as 91mobiles flagged limited peak brightness on the 55-inch
- Probably not, if you rely on Google Cast, want Dolby Vision, or need 120Hz, VRR or ALLM for gaming
Other 43-inch TVs to compare
Xiaomi QLED TV X Pro 2025 (43-inch): Xiaomi’s Google TV-based QLED alternative. According to Xiaomi India, the 43-inch model supports both Dolby Vision and HDR10+, runs at 60Hz, has 30W speakers, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, and offers Google Cast and AirPlay 2. Choose it if you prefer Google TV or want Dolby Vision.
Xiaomi 4K TV FX Series 2025 (43-inch): the non-Pro FX model launched alongside the FX Pro. FoneArena’s launch report lists a standard LED panel instead of QLED, 24W speakers, Fire TV, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It is the simpler option if you mainly want Fire TV on a 4K screen and do not need quantum dot colour.
Xiaomi FX Pro 55-inch: if you have the space, the larger model adds the 120Hz Game Booster, 34W speakers and, according to Xiaomi’s spec sheet, an extra free year of extended warranty. 91mobiles notes the 120Hz mode works at 1080p.
Before you order: a short checklist

- Model number: confirm the listing shows L43MB-FPIN, the 43-inch FX Pro QLED, and not the 55-inch or the non-Pro FX model
- Wall or table: two stand units come in the box, and the TV uses a VESA 100 x 200 mm mount if you plan to wall-mount it, so check bracket and installation arrangements with the seller
- Power socket: 91mobiles noticed the power connector faces upward on the 55-inch, so plug in before pushing the TV against a wall
- Warranty: Xiaomi lists a one-year comprehensive warranty for this size, so check the seller and register the TV with Xiaomi service
- Apps: make sure every app you rely on is available on Fire TV, especially regional streaming services
