The Digitek DWM-115 is a budget 2.4GHz wireless lavalier kit with two clip-on transmitters and one plug-in receiver, built mainly for USB-C smartphones. It suits beginners who record reels, interviews and classroom videos on a phone and want two people on mic without cables. Our short verdict: it is a sensible starter kit for phone creators, but its 40 m claimed range, roughly 6 hours per charge and confusing listing details mean it is not a tool for camera shooters or long professional shoots.

Digitek is an Indian accessories brand (the Amazon.in listing names IMS Merchantiles Pvt. Ltd. as the manufacturer). The variant covered here is the black DWM-115 kit sold on Amazon.in under ASIN B0DH8BSWYF, listed as a “2-in-1 Wireless Microphone” with noise reduction and a magnetic clip.

Transparency note: this article is based on Digitek’s official product page and the Amazon.in listing data, both checked on 17 October 2026. We have not tested the DWM-115 hands-on, and we found no independent lab review of this specific model, so real-world sound and range are not verified here.

Quick verdict

  • Best for: phone-first creators, teachers and small businesses who need two lapel mics for USB-C phones
  • Skip if: you shoot on a DSLR or mirrorless camera, or need more than 6 hours of continuous recording per charge
  • Key strengths: two transmitters in the box, plug-and-play (no app or Bluetooth pairing), built-in noise reduction, charging case, 12-month warranty from Digitek
  • Key limitations: modest 40 m barrier-free range (20 m with obstacles), no camera output mentioned on the official page, and the Amazon listing’s bullet points do not fully match Digitek’s own page

Key specifications

The table separates what Digitek’s official page states from what appears only on the Amazon.in listing, because the two sources do not always agree.

Listing vs official page: what does not match

Before getting into features, buyers should know about a few inconsistencies. On Digitek’s official DWM-115 page, the box contents are two transmitters, one receiver, a charging case, two wind muffs (“wind wool”), a user manual, a Type-C to Lightning connector and a USB to Type-C charging cable. The official page does not mention a display or a remote control.

The Amazon.in listing tells a slightly different story. Its box-contents field lists a charging case, a receiver with charging cable, two magnets, two transmitters and a remote control, and its bullets mention a “built-in digital display indicator” and compatibility with “iPhone 15 and above”. When we compared the captured listings, the five feature bullets on this DWM-115 listing were word-for-word identical to the bullets on Digitek’s DWM-124 listing on Amazon.in. That suggests some bullet text may have been shared across products, so treat the display, remote, weight and 400mAh case claims as unconfirmed for the DWM-115.

The Amazon technical table also has obvious data-entry slips, such as “Microphone Form Factor: Handheld” for what is clearly a clip-on lavalier, and “4 Lithium Ion batteries required”.

Design and wearing comfort

The DWM-115 uses small clip-on transmitters that sit on a collar or shirt placket, with a receiver that plugs directly into the phone’s USB-C port. Digitek’s page describes a back-clip design, while the product title promises a magnetic clip, which typically lets you attach the mic to thin fabric with a magnet behind the cloth instead of clipping the edge. If the listing’s 9 g transmitter figure is accurate, it is light enough not to drag a T-shirt collar down.

Why this matters: a lav mic picks up the best voice when it sits about a hand-width below the chin. A magnetic mount gives you more freedom to place it in that sweet spot, even on a kurta or a dress without a clear collar. The two included wind muffs (per the official page) help outdoors, where even a light breeze can cause rumbling.

Sound and noise reduction

Digitek lists a 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response, which covers the full range of human hearing and is standard for this class. The official page says the transmitter has a noise reduction function and a reverberation effect you can adjust while recording. Reverb adds a room-like echo; it can make a singing clip sound fuller, but for talking-head videos and interviews most editors keep it off, because baked-in reverb cannot be removed later.

The pickup is described as 360 degree (omnidirectional). An omni lav mic hears sound equally from all directions, which is forgiving when the wearer turns their head, but it also hears room noise. That is where noise reduction helps: it can lower steady sounds such as a ceiling fan or AC hum. Noise reduction in budget kits can also make voices sound slightly processed, so it is worth recording a short test with it on and off. We cannot tell you how well the DWM-115’s processing performs, because we found no independent measurement.

Range and connection

The official page quotes about 40 metres in barrier-free conditions and about 20 metres with obstacles. That is fine for a presenter walking a few steps away from a phone on a tripod, or an interviewer and guest standing side by side. It is not designed for wide outdoor shots where the subject stands far from the camera.

Because the system uses its own 2.4GHz link and the receiver plugs straight into the phone, there is no Bluetooth pairing or app to set up, according to the listing. On most USB-C Android phones, the camera app should switch to the external mic automatically once the receiver is plugged in, but some phones’ default camera apps behave differently, so test before an important shoot.

Battery and charging

Digitek quotes about 6 hours of continuous use per charge and about 24 hours with the charging case topping the mics up. The Amazon listing says “up to 6 hours single mic runtime and up to 23+ hours with charging case”. In practice, 6 hours is plenty for a day of short reels, a class or a few interviews, but a wedding shoot or a long event could need a mid-day top-up.

Compatibility: phones, iPhones and cameras

  • USB-C Android phones: the main target, per both sources
  • iPhone 15 and newer: these use USB-C, and the listing names iPhone 15 and above
  • Older Lightning iPhones: Digitek’s official page lists a Type-C to Lightning connector in the box, but the Amazon box contents do not mention it, so confirm before ordering if you use an iPhone 14 or older
  • DSLR and mirrorless cameras: neither the official page nor the listing mentions a 3.5mm camera output, so do not buy this for a camera
  • Laptops and tablets: the official page lists tablets among compatible devices, but behaviour on computers is not described

Who should buy it

The DWM-115 makes sense for Instagram and YouTube Shorts creators shooting on a USB-C Android phone, tutors recording lessons, small shop owners filming product videos, and anyone who needs two voices recorded at once for interviews or podcasts on a phone. If you are building a basic phone setup, our YouTube starter kit guide for India explains how a mic fits alongside lighting and a stand.

Who should skip it

Skip the DWM-115 if you record on a camera, need long range, or want controls such as gain adjustment, headphone monitoring or a safety recording. If you only need one mic and do not want to charge anything, a wired lavalier such as the one in our BOYA BY-M1 review is a simpler choice, with the trade-off of a cable.

Alternatives worth comparing

  • Digitek DWM-124: Digitek’s page claims 80 m range, noise reduction plus an echo mode, and support for iPhone 15 and above and Type-C Android phones, with up to 6 hours runtime
  • Digitek DWM-116: also a 2-transmitter, 1-receiver kit with 40 m barrier-free range and about 6 hours (24 hours with case), with a Type-C to Lightning connector listed in the box
  • Digitek DWM-122: Digitek claims 80 m range and includes wireless audio monitoring buds, but quotes a shorter 4.5 hours of working time
  • Hollyland Lark M2 (Combo): a step up in price, with Hollyland quoting 48kHz/24-bit audio, about 10 hours per transmitter and a dedicated 3.5mm camera receiver

What to check before you order

Digitek DWM-115 buying checklist
What to check before you buy the Digitek DWM-115.
  • Confirm the listing title says DWM-115 and the colour is black, since Digitek sells several similar-looking 2-in-1 kits
  • Read the box contents on the listing and compare them on delivery, especially whether a Type-C to Lightning connector is included if you need it
  • Check that your phone has a USB-C port, and remove thick phone cases if the receiver does not seat fully
  • Keep the invoice: Digitek’s 12-month warranty covers manufacturing defects only and requires a valid invoice, and excludes physical or liquid damage
  • Note Digitek’s support details from the listing: toll-free 1800-123-544-444 and support@digitek.net.in
  • Record a short test with noise reduction and reverb both off and on to pick the settings that suit your room

Frequently asked questions

Does the Digitek DWM-115 work with an iPhone?

The Amazon.in listing says it is designed for iPhone 15 and above, which have USB-C ports. Digitek’s official page also lists a Type-C to Lightning connector in the box, which would be needed for older Lightning iPhones, but the Amazon box-contents field does not mention it. Confirm with the seller if you have an iPhone 14 or earlier.

Can I use the DWM-115 with a DSLR or mirrorless camera?

Neither Digitek’s page nor the Amazon listing mentions a 3.5mm camera output, so we do not recommend it for cameras. Kits such as the Hollyland Lark M2 Combo include a separate camera receiver for that purpose.

What is the range of the Digitek DWM-115?

Digitek quotes 40 metres in barrier-free conditions and about 20 metres with obstacles. These are manufacturer claims; real range depends on walls, people and wireless interference.

How long does the battery last?

About 6 hours of continuous use per charge, and about 24 hours in total with the charging case, according to Digitek. The Amazon listing quotes 23+ hours with the case.

Do I need an app or Bluetooth?

No. The listing describes it as plug-and-play with no Bluetooth or app required; the receiver plugs into the phone’s USB-C port.

What warranty does Digitek give?

Digitek’s page states a 12-month warranty for manufacturing defects, with a valid invoice. Physical damage, liquid damage and unauthorised repairs are excluded.

Final word

The Digitek DWM-115 is a straightforward way to put two wireless mics on a USB-C phone without pairing or apps, and its 6-hour runtime, charging case and noise reduction cover most short-form creator needs. Its limits are clear too: modest range, no camera output, and listing details that do not fully match Digitek’s own page. If those limits fit your work, check the current price of the Digitek DWM-115 on Amazon.in and confirm the box contents before you order.
