The WiZ A67 E27 colour smart bulb (listed on Amazon.in as “Wiz Wi-Fi 100W Colour Smart Bulb A67 E27”) is one of the brightest bulbs in WiZ’s range: Signify’s official datasheet rates it at 13 W real power for up to 1,521 lumens, the light of an old 100 W incandescent, with tunable white from 2200 K to 6500 K, full RGB colour and a CRI of 90 or above. It works over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with no hub, and suits E27 lamps and holders where you want one bulb to light a room properly.

The short verdict: on paper this is a strong main-room smart bulb with high colour quality, and the official rating of 220 to 240 V suits Indian mains. Two cautions stand out. It uses an E27 screw base, while most Indian ceiling holders are B22 bayonet, and the Amazon.in listing’s technical section includes a “100 to 120 Volts” field that contradicts Signify’s datasheet, so check the voltage printed on the box when it arrives.

Everything here comes from Signify’s official WiZ datasheet and the Amazon.in listing, both checked on 17 October 2026. This is not a hands-on review: we have not tested the bulb, and no measurements or personal impressions are included.

Quick verdict

  • Best for: E27 table lamps, floor lamps and pendant holders where you want a bright, colour-accurate main light with app and voice control
  • Skip if: your holders are B22, your shade is too small for a large A67 bulb, or you only need warm white
  • Key strengths: 1,521 lumens, 117 lumens per watt, CRI 90 or above, 2200 to 6500 K plus RGB, no hub, 50,000 switch cycles
  • Key limitations: E27 base, 142 x 77 mm size, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only, Matter only through third-party hubs, and conflicting voltage and spec fields on the listing

Official specifications vs the Amazon.in listing

The listing’s technical section has several fields that clearly do not describe this bulb. The table below sets Signify’s datasheet figures beside them so you can see what to trust.

The listing’s EAN codes (08718699786199 and 08718699786205) match the datasheet’s EAN, and the 13 W and 108 g figures agree, so the listing is very likely for this product with poorly filled technical fields. Even so, voltage is a safety matter. Signify rates this bulb at 220 to 240 V, which is correct for India. Confirm that rating on the packaging before installing, and return the bulb if the box shows a 120 V rating. Check the current price of the WiZ A67 E27 colour bulb on Amazon.in.

Is 1,521 lumens bright enough for a room?

For most Indian bedrooms and small living rooms, yes, as a single main light. Check the lumen figure printed on the box of the bulb you are replacing: if it is a regular 9 W household LED, it will usually be well under 1,521 lumens, so this is a clear step up. In a larger hall or a room with dark walls, you may still want a second light source, but 100 W-equivalent output is a lot of light from a single bulb.

Efficacy of 117 lumens per watt is also good for a colour-capable bulb. At full brightness it draws 13 W, and Signify lists consumption of 13 kWh per 1,000 hours. If you use it for five hours a day, that is about 2 kWh a month at full output, and less when dimmed.

Coloured scenes will look dimmer than white at the same setting, because the eye responds most strongly to white and green light. Treat the lumen figure as a white-light number.

Light quality and colour

A CRI of 90 or above means objects under the bulb look closer to how they do in daylight. That matters in a living room or dining area more than people expect: food, skin tones and fabrics look more natural than under a basic CRI 80 bulb. Signify also lists colour consistency of 6 SDCM, a measure of how closely two bulbs of the same model match each other in white tone.

The 2200 K to 6500 K white range covers everything from a deep amber evening glow to bright daylight for study or work. Full RGB colour adds options for festivals, parties and night lights. Signify notes the bulb is not “warm dimmable”, which means it does not automatically get warmer as you dim it the way some bulbs mimic incandescent behaviour. You can still choose a warm white and dim it yourself in the app.

Size and fit: check your lamp before ordering

“A67” describes a bulb shape larger than the standard A60 household bulb. Signify lists this one at 142 mm tall and 77 mm wide. That extra size can be a problem in compact shades, small pendants, or lamps with a harp that sits close to the bulb. Measure the space inside your fitting first.

The base is E27, a 27 mm screw base. In India, E27 is common in table lamps, floor lamps and many decorative or imported pendants, while ceiling batten holders are usually B22 bayonet. B22-to-E27 adapters exist, but they add length, which makes a large A67 bulb stick out even further. If all your holders are B22, a native B22 smart bulb is a cleaner choice.

Smart features and ecosystem support

The datasheet lists Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n at 2.4 GHz plus Bluetooth Low Energy, and states that no hub or gateway is needed. Control is through the WiZ app on Android and iOS. Features listed include:

  • App, remote and voice control
  • Custom scenes and dynamic light modes such as Fireplace and Ocean
  • Scheduled on/off routines and an energy-saving auto-off
  • Daily and weekly energy consumption reports
  • SpaceSense motion-triggered lighting, which requires at least two WiZ lights in a room

Signify’s datasheet lists Google Assistant, IFTTT, Samsung SmartThings and Siri Shortcuts as integrations. It does not list Amazon Alexa, although Philips Lighting India’s page for its WiZ Connected range says WiZ lights pair with Alexa through the WiZ app, and the Amazon.in listing says the bulb works by app or voice. If Alexa is your main assistant, check WiZ’s current Alexa support before buying. For Matter, the datasheet says support comes via third-party Wi-Fi hubs, so this is not a native Matter bulb.

Lifespan and long-term support

Signify rates the bulb for 15,000 hours, which it equates to 15 years at 2.7 hours a day, with 50,000 switch cycles and 70 percent lumen maintenance. It also lists a support period of at least 60 months from launch. For a connected bulb, that support period is worth thinking about, because app features and security updates depend on it. Because that period is counted from launch rather than from your purchase date, the remaining window when you buy may be shorter than five years.

Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere

Who should buy the A67 E27 Colour
Who the A67 E27 Colour suits, summarised from this review.

A good fit if you have E27 lamps or pendants with room for a large bulb, you want bright, colour-accurate main lighting with colour scenes on top, or you already use other WiZ or Philips WiZ Connected lights and want them in one app.

Look elsewhere if your holders are B22, your fittings are tight, you need native Matter, you depend mainly on Alexa and do not want to verify support first, or you would rather not deal with a listing whose spec fields need double-checking.

Alternatives worth comparing

WiZ C37 E14 colour candle bulb: from the same range, rated by WiZ at 4.9 W and 470 lumens with the same 2200 to 6500 K range and CRI 90 or above. It is for decorative E14 fittings and accent light, not main lighting.

Philips Smart Wi-Fi LED bulbs (WiZ Connected): Philips Lighting India sells smart Wi-Fi bulbs that use the same WiZ app and, per its site, support Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri Shortcuts. If you need a B22 base, check the individual Philips product page for one.

A regular LED bulb on a smart plug, such as the Tapo P116M: Tapo India rates the P116M at 6 A and 200 to 240 V with Matter support and energy monitoring. Paired with any ordinary bulb, it gives you app, voice and schedule control of on and off, but no dimming, colour or white tuning.

Buying tips before you order

A67 E27 Colour buying checklist
What to check before you buy the A67 E27 Colour.
  • Confirm the listing title reads A67 E27 colour and that your lamp takes an E27 base
  • Measure your shade for a 142 x 77 mm bulb
  • On delivery, read the voltage on the box and bulb and make sure it says 220 to 240 V
  • Set up on a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network
  • Do not install it on a circuit with a conventional wall dimmer, and dim it through the app instead, a standard precaution with smart bulbs
  • Ask the seller about warranty and who provides service in India, since the listing data does not state it

Frequently asked questions

Does the WiZ 100W A67 bulb really use 100 W?

No. Signify lists 13 W of real power. “100W” is the equivalent brightness of an old incandescent bulb.

Is it safe to use on 230 V in India?

Signify’s datasheet rates it at 220 to 240 V, 50 to 60 Hz. The Amazon.in listing also shows a conflicting 100 to 120 V field, so check the rating printed on your bulb’s box before use.

Will it fit a B22 ceiling holder?

Not directly. It has an E27 screw base. An adapter can work, but the bulb is already large, so a native B22 bulb is usually a better choice for B22 holders.

Does it need a WiZ hub?

No. Signify states that no hub or gateway is needed. It connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and also has Bluetooth.

Does it support Matter?

Only via third-party Wi-Fi hubs, according to the datasheet. It is not described as a native Matter device.

Bottom line

The WiZ A67 E27 colour bulb pairs real brightness, 1,521 lumens at 13 W, with CRI 90 or above colour quality and the full WiZ feature set, which makes it a capable main light on paper. The trade-offs are physical (E27 base and a large A67 body) and administrative (a listing with unreliable spec fields, including a voltage line that needs checking). If your lamp fits and the box shows 220 to 240 V, it is a strong main-light option on paper. Check the current price of the WiZ A67 E27 colour smart bulb on Amazon.in.
