The realme Buds T310 are budget truly wireless earbuds that bring up to 46dB hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC), a 360° spatial audio effect and a 12.4mm dynamic driver to the entry-level price segment. On paper and in published reviews, they are a well-rounded pick for Indian buyers who want ANC, dual-device connection and long battery life. The main compromises are SBC and AAC codecs only, average touch controls and ANC that reviewers rate as good for the money rather than flagship-grade.
realme launched the Buds T310 in India at the end of July 2024, so they are not the newest pair on the shelf, but that also means plenty of independent reviews exist. This guide is for students, commuters and first-time ANC buyers.
Please note: this article is based on realme’s official specifications and published third-party reviews, not on hands-on testing by GadgetSoch. Specifications and sources were checked on 17 October 2026.

Design, fit and comfort
The Buds T310 are in-ear earbuds with silicone tips, and a good tip seal does much of the noise-blocking before ANC starts. Poland’s gsmManiaK describes a polycarbonate body with a fingerprint-resistant matte finish on the black version and a glossy white version. Russian publication iXBT measured each earbud at about 4.3g and the case at about 33g.
gsmManiaK’s reviewer wore them for about six hours without discomfort. iXBT found they stayed in place on walks and light jogs but could loosen during intense exercise. gsmManiaK also found the case scratched easily and the earbuds did not always drop neatly into it.
Sound quality and spatial audio
A 12.4mm driver is large for an earbud. A bigger diaphragm can move more air, which makes full-sounding bass easier to produce without straining the driver.
iXBT describes the sound as pleasant with a bass emphasis that is “not overbearing”, a nearly flat and detailed midrange, and restrained highs without harsh sibilance. gsmManiaK found strong but controlled bass, and GadgetMatch called the default tuning bass-heavy but clearer than expected. Both iXBT and gsmManiaK say it sits below flagship earbuds.
The realme Link app offers EQ presets (GadgetMatch lists Clear Vocals, Natural Balance, Clear Bass and Bass Boost) plus a custom equaliser. iXBT found the bass-cleaning preset largely smooths out a dip around 150Hz in the frequency response.
The 360° spatial audio effect uses an HRTF-based algorithm, according to gsmManiaK, to widen stereo sound, and Notebookcheck notes there is no head tracking. Treat it as an extra for films, not a reason to buy.
Codecs are the main technical limit: only SBC and AAC are supported. That suits iPhones, which use AAC, but Android users with LDAC phones will not get higher-bitrate streaming.
Active noise cancellation and transparency mode
Hybrid ANC uses microphones outside and inside each earbud, which generally handles the low rumble of buses, metro trains and air-conditioners better than outside-only systems. Notebookcheck notes the 46dB claim combines active cancellation with passive isolation, so it is not a real-world measurement.
There are three ANC levels (mild, moderate and maximum). iXBT called the ANC surprisingly effective for a budget model, though weaker than flagships, and suggested maximum for the metro, the middle setting for busy streets and the lowest setting for cafés and offices. It also reported a feeling of pressure after around 30 minutes on maximum. gsmManiaK heard a background hiss with ANC on, most noticeable in quiet rooms.
Transparency mode lets outside sound in so you can hear announcements without removing an earbud. GadgetMatch found it made nearby sounds noticeably clearer, and iXBT notes a voice-focused option.
Battery life and charging
realme claims up to 40 hours of total playback with ANC off and up to 26 hours with ANC on, including case top-ups. For the earbuds alone, iXBT lists claims of about 9 hours with ANC off and about 6 hours with ANC on, and its own test (white noise at roughly 95dB SPL) recorded 9 hours 6 minutes and 5 hours 56 minutes respectively, so the claims held up in that test. gsmManiaK reports 58mAh cells in each earbud and a 480mAh case.
Fast charging is rated at 10 minutes for up to 5 hours of playback. iXBT got about 4 hours from a 10-minute charge, and up to two hours for a full charge of earbuds plus case. Charging is through USB Type-C, and there is no wireless charging.
Calls, connectivity, controls and gaming
Each earbud has three microphones, six in total, backed by realme’s AI Deep Call Noise Reduction. iXBT found calls clear and stable, with most low-frequency street noise filtered out, though the voice sounded less natural and the microphones could clip when the speaker talked loudly.
The Buds T310 use Bluetooth 5.4 and can connect to two devices at once. iXBT notes that dual connection is off by default and has to be enabled in the realme Link app, and gsmManiaK notes audio cannot play from both devices at the same time. iXBT also reports Google Fast Pair support for quick pairing on Android.
For gaming, realme claims up to 45ms latency in game mode. iXBT measured about 50ms with game mode on and up to about 200ms without it, so switch game mode on for BGMI or other fast games. Controls are touch-based and customisable in the app, but iXBT found some response lag, no swipe gestures and single tap disabled by default. There is no wear sensor for auto-pause.
IP55 means protection against dust and low-pressure water jets, which covers sweat and light rain, not submersion.

Alternatives worth comparing
realme Buds T300
The predecessor uses the same 12.4mm driver size and also claims up to 40 hours of total playback, but its ANC is rated at up to 30dB and it uses Bluetooth 5.3, according to Lowyat.NET’s launch coverage. iXBT found the T310 sounds closer to realme’s Buds Air 5 than to the T300, so the older model makes sense mainly at a clear discount.
OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro
OnePlus’s official India spec page lists up to 49dB ANC, a 12.4mm dynamic driver, Bluetooth 5.4, AAC and SBC, IP55 for the earbuds and dual connection. It claims about 44 hours total with ANC off but about 20 hours with ANC on, below the T310’s claimed 26 hours.
CMF Buds 2 by Nothing
Nothing’s official page lists up to 48dB hybrid ANC, an 11mm driver, Bluetooth 5.4, AAC and SBC, dual connection and six microphones. It claims up to 55 hours with ANC off and 32 hours with ANC on, including the case. Check availability in India.
What to check before you order

- Exact product name: make sure the listing says Buds T310, not the similarly named Buds T300 or another T-series model
- Colour: realme sells Monet Purple, Vibrant Black and Agile White, so confirm the colour on the product page
- Box contents: iXBT’s retail unit came with two spare pairs of ear tips but no charging cable, so check the “What’s in the box” section and keep a USB Type-C cable handy
- Warranty and seller: confirm the warranty period shown on the listing and that the seller is realme or an authorised seller
- App: ANC levels, EQ and dual connection are managed in the realme Link app, so check it supports your phone
