If you want a budget smartwatch that can take calls from your wrist, five watches we have reviewed fit the brief: the boAt Lunar Vista, Noise Pulse 2 Max, boAt Lunar Discovery (2026 Edition), Noise Twist Go and Fire-Boltt Phoenix Pro. Each pairs with your phone over Bluetooth and uses a built-in microphone and speaker, so you can answer a call while the phone sits in a bag or on the charger. None of them takes a SIM, and none has built-in GPS.

Bluetooth Calling Smartwatches: key specs at a glance
Bluetooth Calling Smartwatches key specifications, summarised from the table in this guide.

The best calling smartwatch under a budget depends on what you value most. Pick the Lunar Vista for the biggest round display, the Pulse 2 Max for a large rectangular screen and the longest claimed battery, the Lunar Discovery for phone-assisted navigation prompts and an SOS button, and the Twist Go or Phoenix Pro if you want a compact round watch with a metal body.

How this guide was made: our picks are based on official specifications and published reviews and listings, summarised in our individual reviews. We have not tested these watches hands-on. Availability and prices on Amazon.in change often, so check the listing before you buy.

How we picked

We started with smartwatches gadgetsoch has already reviewed and kept only those that were listed in stock on Amazon.in when we checked on 17 October 2026. Every watch here had to offer Bluetooth calling through a built-in mic and speaker, according to the manufacturer or the sources used in our review.

We then compared them on what matters in daily use at this budget level: screen size and type, claimed battery life with and without calling, water rating, phone compatibility and how clearly the brand documents its specifications. We did not rank the watches with scores, because without hands-on testing a numbered ranking would suggest a precision we do not have. Instead, each watch is matched to the kind of buyer it suits best.

The best budget smartwatches with Bluetooth calling

boAt Lunar Vista

The Lunar Vista suits anyone who reads messages on their wrist often and wants the largest round face in this list. Its 1.52-inch round TFT display is listed at 360 x 360 pixels and 550 nits, and a rotating functional crown lets you scroll without covering the screen. boAt’s official pages describe Bluetooth 5.3 calling with a built-in mic, a dial pad and up to 10 saved contacts, along with 100+ sports modes and an IP67 rating.

The main limitation is battery with calling: boAt quotes only up to 2 days with Bluetooth calling enabled, while normal-use claims range from 7 to 10 days depending on the boAt page. The Amazon.in listing title we checked did not mention calling, so confirm it in the listing details before you order. It is also a TFT panel, not AMOLED.

Noise Pulse 2 Max

The Pulse 2 Max is the pick for buyers who want a big, easy-to-read rectangular screen and less frequent charging. Noise lists a 1.85-inch TFT LCD at 240 x 284 pixels with up to 550 nits, Bluetooth 5.3 calling with its Tru Sync technology, and up to 10 days of typical use from a 300 mAh battery. It weighs 41.7 g, uses a common 22 mm swappable strap and carries an IP68 rating, though Noise says it is not meant for swimming, saunas or hot water.

Limitations: the resolution is modest for the screen size, so fine text can look soft, the case is polycarbonate rather than metal, and iPhone users need iOS 17 or later. Noise gives a one-year manufacturing warranty.

boAt Lunar Discovery (2026 Edition)

The Lunar Discovery is the most feature-rich of the 1.39-inch round watches here. Alongside Bluetooth 5.3 calling with a dial pad, boAt adds turn-by-turn direction prompts powered by MapmyIndia, an Emergency SOS triggered by long-pressing the side button, a functional crown, a QR tray and sync with Apple Health, Google Fit and Strava. It suits students and office-goers who always carry their phone.

The catch is that navigation and SOS both depend on the paired phone, because the watch has no GPS of its own. The 240 x 240 TFT screen is basic, IP67 is splash-level protection, and battery claims vary: launch reports quote up to 7 days, while boAt’s current support page says up to 4 days, with about 4 days when calling. boAt has not published what changed under the 2026 Edition label.

Noise Twist Go

The Twist Go is a good match for smaller wrists and anyone who wants a smartwatch that looks like a regular round watch. It has a metal case with a functional crown, a dial of about 35 mm and a weight of 39 g according to Croma, and a 1.39-inch TFT display at 240 x 240 with up to 550 nits. Calling runs over Bluetooth 5.3 with a dial pad, call logs, caller name display and, per Croma, up to 10 saved contacts. Noise claims up to 7 days of typical use.

Limitations: the low-resolution TFT screen, no GPS and no onboard music. The water rating needs care: the Amazon.in title says IP68, but Noise’s own page lists IP67, so we go with IP67 and would keep it away from swimming and showers. Noise’s FAQ also says remote music control is not supported, even though some listings mention it.

Fire-Boltt Phoenix Pro

The Phoenix Pro is for first-time buyers who want a classic round watch with a metal body that can take calls. Retailer listings describe a 1.39-inch round TFT display at 240 x 240 with a 60Hz refresh rate, Bluetooth 5.0 calling with a mic and speaker, an AI voice assistant shortcut that wakes Google Assistant or Siri on your phone, 120+ sports modes and IP67. Retailers list compatibility with both Android and iOS.

Its limits are the dimmest screen here at a listed 280 nits, an older Bluetooth version and inconsistent battery figures: most listings say up to 7 days of normal use, some spec tables say up to 5 days, and battery capacity differs between retailers. Fire-Boltt’s own website could not be reached when we checked, so these specifications come from retailer listings and spec databases.

What to check before you buy a calling smartwatch

Bluetooth Calling Smartwatches: buying checklist
Bluetooth Calling Smartwatches: what to check before you buy, from this guide.

The exact variant. Each link in this guide opens one colour: Cool Grey for the Lunar Vista, Jet Black for the Pulse 2 Max and Twist Go, Active Blue for the Lunar Discovery and Brown for the Phoenix Pro. Other colours and strap styles are often separate listings, so confirm the colour, strap and model name before paying.

Phone compatibility. Both Noise watches need Android 9 or iOS 17 or later and the NoiseFit app. boAt lists Android 7 and iOS 14 or later for the Lunar Discovery, and Android 7 and iOS 12 or later for the Lunar Vista. If your iPhone cannot update to iOS 17, the Noise models are not for you.

Warranty and service in India. Expect a one-year warranty across this list. boAt mentions a 3-month extension on some purchases, but its FAQ refers to 12 months, so check the warranty card and keep your invoice. Noise asks you to register the watch online after delivery. Buying from the brand or an authorised seller makes service claims simpler.

Realistic battery and calling expectations. Calls route through your phone, so it must stay within Bluetooth range, roughly 7 to 10 metres according to boAt and Noise. Frequent calls, high brightness and always-on display shorten battery life well below the headline claims. None of the box contents we checked lists a wall adapter.

Health readings. Heart rate, SpO2, stress and sleep readings on these watches are not medical-grade, and boAt says so directly in its support pages. Use them for general wellness trends, never for diagnosis, and see a doctor about any health concern.

Frequently asked questions

Which budget calling smartwatch has the biggest screen?

Of the watches we reviewed, the Noise Pulse 2 Max has the largest display at 1.85 inches, in a rectangular shape. If you want a round dial, the boAt Lunar Vista is the biggest here at 1.52 inches.

Can these smartwatches make calls without a phone?

No. None of them supports a SIM or eSIM. They work like a Bluetooth headset for your phone, so calls only go through while the phone is connected and within range.

Can I swim with any of these watches?

We would not. The two boAt watches, the Noise Twist Go and the Fire-Boltt Phoenix Pro are rated IP67 by their makers, and Noise says even the IP68-rated Pulse 2 Max is not meant for swimming, saunas, hot water or sea water. They are fine for sweat, rain and handwashing.

Do any of these watches have built-in GPS?

No. None lists built-in GPS, so outdoor run and ride distances are estimated from motion sensors. The boAt Lunar Discovery shows direction prompts using your phone’s GPS, but it cannot track routes on its own.

Are the SpO2 and heart rate readings accurate?

They are useful for spotting trends but are not medical-grade, and we found no independent accuracy testing for these models. Fit, skin, tattoos and movement can affect readings, so do not rely on them for medical decisions.

Which one works best with an iPhone?

All five list iOS support, but the requirements differ. The boAt Lunar Vista lists iOS 12 or later and the Lunar Discovery iOS 14 or later, while both Noise watches need iOS 17 or later. Fire-Boltt’s minimum iOS version was not confirmed in the listings we checked.
